That I have a law degree with specializations in Marine, Indigenous, and Environmental Law—to sound educated and informed.

That I’ve worked across government, nonprofits, and the private sector—to signal credibility and experience.

That I’m a bestselling children’s book author, a Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leader, and a Clean50 Emerging Leader—to flaunt my accolades.

That I sit on the board of Canada’s largest environmental film festival (Planet In Focus), and that I’m currently in the process of producing the world’s first community-led conservation film—to showcase my passion for storytelling and community building.

That I’m passionate about increasing representation in the sustainability sector and bridging the gap between environmentalism and masculinity—to sound progressive and purpose-driven.

That I’ve delivered keynote speeches to thousands of people at international climate conferences, universities, museums, and community centres—to prove I have something worth listening to.

Or that I’m the son of Sri Lankan refugees, a first-generation Tamil Canadian working to uplift other displaced communities—to reflect resilience, heritage, and hope.

But in the end, I’m just a guy trying to leave the world a little better than he found it—through stories, the law, and a little bit of stubborn optimism.
